Putting Faith Into Action
Our Founder, the late Peter Gyves, SJ, MD, was inspired by his experiences in El Salvador in the midst of their civil war to leave behind his life of comfort and walk in solidarity with those who were suffering. He founded A Faith That Does Justice to give to others the opportunity to put their faith into action in service of others and to stand up for the right of all to share in the goods of God’s creation.
If we are people of faith, we are called to not just attend churches, synagogues and mosques but to work in society for a world that is better for all.
